		<description>Dear Mrs. Wiles,

I believe God works in mysterious ways. My grandmother, Virginia C. Davis, passed away in 2001. My father, Bud Davis, Gave to me, some of her most personal possesions today that she left behind, such as jewelry, watches, wedding ring, etc. She was 94 yrs old.
The reason I have been led to you is some what of a mystery to me in that one of the items in her possesion, was a nickel silver USN POW bracelet with "LT MARVIN B.C. WILES, USN 6 MAY 72" inscribed on it. There is also a white circle with a blue star in it, and a blue circle with a white star inside it.

My dad and I wondered how she came to have it. That's the mystery. Why did she keep it with her most prized possesions? Then I did a search on the internet and unravelled your husband's amazing story. I am in tears. Your husband is a HERO. I was 5 years old in 1972. I am 41 yrs old now and free because of your husband and other brave men such as your husband have fought for my freedom.
I would be honored to bring myself and my family to MT SOLEDAD this September 20th, 2008 to return this precious bracelet to you and your family. I know I cannot bring Him home to you, but I can bring a part of him back to you. I am so thankful to your husband and all men who have fought so bravely to give myself and my children our freedom. Thank you. I will look forward to returning this precious bracelet to you and shake your gracious hands.
May God Bless you and Your Family Forever,
Jim Davis
