Things haven’t changed much in 20 - 40 years, yeah I retired almost 20 years ago, and we talked about THE SAME DAMN THING..gettin HOME, gettin HIGH, gettin LAID. For us old fucks, I think EAS is the same as ETS. A Fighting Man will still fuck around in Combat to ease the stress. The only thing I see that’s changed is they now have computers, satellite phones, video cameras, and Better Weapons. Sure wish I could call home then, or email, or send a video home, instead of waiting WEEKS for a letter.
